    Problems with LM15EB

    I have a LM15EB (Socket Rocket) that's playing up.

It's permanently on and is not responding to any X10 signals I sent from my IR7243.

I have relocated it to a known working ceiling light but this is not making any difference.

Does the module have any user serviceable parts ?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Cheers

    Dave.

    Re: Problems with LM15EB

Socket Rocket's have a reputation of failure when the bulb blows. I believe it causes the Triac inside the device to blow. I have seen many reports of this but no cure so it looks like a trip to the dustbin!

Not much help I know but try and use another device to control your lamp in the future.

Thanks for the reply. It's for a ceiling light which is on a 2-way switch so I'd need to redesign the way that I currently have my X10 modules set up (along with buying more modules, which in itself isn't a bad thing :-) )

      Cheers

      Dave.
