    Default Scart TV Control

    Hi there!

    Gotta question!

When I connect a VCR, DVD or DVR to my TV set, with a scart connector, it makes life easier by setting the AV channel on the TV set automatically when I turn on one of these peripherals.

    Great.

Problem is, I have a AV receiver in the middle of all these things, that has only RCA connectors, with do not enable this function.

    Question:

What pin in the Scart connector controls the AV channel, and how?

Maybe I can make some gadjet to do this, or maybe someone out there already has one.

    Thank You.

    Hi Nuno,

    Pin8 controls the switching

    +5V = Widescreen 16:9
    +12V = Fulscreen 4:3
