Hi all, I'm new here.
My package of X10 stuff arrived yesterday and I was well happy. When i plugged it in (CM11U or CM12, can't remember which but def the UK version 220V 50hz) with Harmony Lite server it didn't work.
It says it was initialisng Com 1, i'm fair sure its com1 as the others don't work, and com 6 is blue tooth.
After a few seconds of "initialising", it says "failed to initialise".
I unpluged it, and opened it up (Battries bit) and sniffed, and it smelt abit odd (not sure if i would class as burnt, not unusual).
I have also been reading here in the forums that they only last 2 years.
Am I just unlucky to got a broken on or my pc coms aren't mapped?
Are there any quick tests i can do to see if it works? I can try other machines but don't want to installed too much on other pcs.
