    iOS TCC App issues

    Hi,

    Is anyone else having issues with the iOS TCC app over the past week or so?

    Issues I’m seeing intermittently:

    Takes a long time to log in “processing”
    System unavailable when trying to log in - message to “retry”
    Server not available when changing a set point end time

    TCC App version: 4.5.0

    iOS version: 11 Public Beta 10 (build 15A5372a)

    In a word yes. I'm seeing the exact same thing as you. I just posted about it over in the Browser control now live for TCC Devices thread before noticing this thread, because for me, the symptoms began the same day (or possibly the following day) after the new TCC web portal was announced. Ever since then the iOS app has been very unreliable.

      Yes Having Problems with Android as well I'm seeing the exact same thing as you but also its Logging me out so when I open App I have to Log in every time

        I'm seeing exactly the same issues with the Android app. It seems to take 2 ňr 3 retries before successfully logging in.

          OK, so looks to be wider than I thought.

          Who is on iOS 11 beta, and who is on iOS 10?

          I haven’t logged a case with honeywell as I’m on ios11 beta.

              Right, so probably not iOS 11 beta related at all then...strange. Must be a Honeywell backend issue then if it’s affecting both platforms (Android and iOS)

                    Every time I try to log in now. I am using IOS 11 on my iPad and IOS 10 on my iPhone and its the same on both. Tells me I am logged out when I should be in and then takes an age to log in again.

                      I'm having the same problems. Also on iOS public beta. I don't use the app often enough to be able to correlate the problems with the iOS beta or the web portal release, I'm afraid.

                        It is definitely not a beta issue as I get it with IOS 10 as well. I don’t think it’s an app issue as it was OK until recently, so must be a server issue. I have just tried again and been told to sign in again, I had not signed out.

                        Correction, I have just tried and it now does not recognise me. And yes, I have put in the right name and password.

                            Same on iPad and iPhone. This is what worries me about Honeywell pushing out controller firmware updates (not that there have been that many of them) when I might be away from home in the depths of Winter.

                              I’ll call Honeywell today to report the issue now I can see it’s clearly their side.

                              Suggest others do the same to get some pressure put on this if you can and rely on or use the app.
