New evohome FW - update WiFi 02.00.17.00 and Application 02.00.17.03

    Had my update last night, no problems

      I am also waiting for the application update. WiFi is already updated.

            A lot of us assumed that the USB port on the non-wifi model had some purpose. We were wrong. In truth, wifi or non-wifi, Honeywell rarely releases updates to its Evohome products. I am guessing that it will not be long before we see the next Evotouch controller release.

              Still no update to either the wifi version or app version. I only upgraded to the wifi version unit a few weeks ago having had both the MKI and MKII. I wasn't going to upgrade as the MKII did mostly all I needed but the new released (but yet to receive)software version has a feature I would find invaluable and so I finally "gave in". I wonder if as has been suggested I am down at the end of the list due to it being a recent purchase. Is your unit new of have you had for some time (as if you have had for some years then that scuppers that reasoning!)

                I bought the controller in oct 2016, ( full WiFi version) but I only installed it late last year, nov 2017.

                  Hm, may be as was suggested that it is being done in order of linking the unit to Honeywell account. Would be interesting to know over what period the phased release is taking place and when units that have been linked in the last couple of months can expect the update. Just in case there is an issue with some of our units not updating and we don't know when to raise a support call as we don't know when they should have been updated?

                                Actually I did contact support via the contact form at https://ensupport.getconnected.honey...contactsupport

                                I gave them my TCC login email address and all the device details, Device ID, MAC and CRC. It seems to have kicked off the process.
