Has anyone here used the HC60NG with Evohome? I know the 'official' Honeywell advice is that it isn't compatible, but I'm also sure I read somewhere (not sure if it was here) about someone using it.

That drives 10A resistive or 3A inductive.

        This support FAQ says it's a no-no.

But this guide has the pairing instructions!

I can confirm that the HC60NG did work when I tried it when I moved over from Hometronic to Evohome. But that was a few years ago. Several firmware versions later, not sure because I sold the HC60NGs.

Are you referring more to the receivers rather than the thermostat?

If so I am fitting two tomorrow on an electric floor pending the software release (customer is fully aware).

A few seconds ago it happened to me! My screen went blank, told me to wait and I am now on application version 02.00.17.03 and software version 02.00.17.00.Lots of egg timers as it re boots itself.

Did you ask for it in the beta test group or does that mean it is going out to general release now ?

Has to be a general release for I am not part of the beta test group.

If you dig into the settings you can see which zone is calling for heat. I think that is what it is saying for there is a column with a picture of a flame above it and then percentages. This would have been better up front than deep down in the settings. I can boost my hot water, presumably until the next set point. The icon for hot water is now a picture of a tank. I think the clock settings page may be different, not sure. Still a couple of minutes fast though!

Do you have an electronic zone option?

Yes. If I go into a zone configuration and choose "Heating Type" it gives me the following options:

                      Underfloor Heating
                      Radiator Valve
                      Electric Heat
                      Mixing Valve
                      Zone Valve

There is also a help menu to tell you what each is for.

The Quick Action menus can be set but only it seems to the next day, not for a certain number of hours.

Snap, I would never have noticed but there is a new icon on the hot water [Look's like a hot water tank] that drew my attention to it.

I appear to have received this update overnight - at the same time, I seem to be having repeated WiFi disconnections. I get an email alert when it happens and it doesn't seem able to reconnect.

                            Known issue?

I seem to have 1.0 software and 2.0 WiFi currently?
