Wiring BDR91 as simple on/off relay

I'm sure I'm just tired, but instead of reading all the wiring manuals again I thought I'd just ask here.

I'm going to use a BDR91 as a simple on/off relay to turn my electric heating on.

I've wired Live and Neutral in to the BDR91 and connected them up to N and the middle L.

I've then wired the 'switched' output up to A and B. I've bound the BDR91 to my controller and I can turn the LED on / off from the controller. But, it doesn't look like it is switching 240V out of A/B.

Have I wired this up wrong ?

How have you wired the switched output to A and B?

Right L should link to A and your switched output goes to B.

Its not a case of reading the manuals.... There's a dirty great sticker with a picture of how to do inside the BDR.

So, both Neutrals in to N. Perm live into left L, link between right L and A. Then switched out (live) into B.

I guess both Ls are connected together in the box itself ?

Yes, but - How much current are you planing to pull through the BDR?

Only about 4/500 watts. Definitely under 1k.

All working. Toasty warm this morning.

It's amazing what a bit of not being tired and actually reading the wiring diagram can do :-)
