    HR92 Failure in humidity

Is anyone using HR92's in a really steamy room. I have had two fail recently and both are in high humidity areas?

What do you consider a "really steamy room" ?

I have one in the bathroom - and that gets up over 90% humidity with the shower running...

In what way have they failed ? Completely dead ?

Thanks, they are failing with an E1 sensor error. But if they are working for you then it must be coincidence.

Well I have one on the bathroom radiator that has been there for nearly 2 years and is still working. Only a sample size of one of course...

I have wondered whether wet hands adjusting it could eventually cause water damage though - I always avoid turning the knob with wet hands, as they are not water proof.

Have one here in the bathroom which gets nice and steamy.

Oh, just noticed the date. It's time for my annual bath.

            Spec sheet says for HR92

            Environmental temperature : 0 ….. +50 ºC
            Storage temperature: -20 …+55 ºC
            Humidity: 10 … 90 % relative humidity

So if you have a bath once a year then the bathroom is getting steamy due to other human factors!

Still using a pre-92 actuator in the bathroom with shower for 4 years and a '92 in my en-suite for two years with no issues.

Can the HR92 E! fault be cleared with a battery like the old one?

Never has an E1 fault with a HR92 so far.

Thanks Chris, tried a battery swap but no luck, useful info though.
