Excluding 1 Zone from the economy start

Can i exclude 1 zone from the economy start ?
The heating in our bedroom is waking up my gf, as it starts to heat the room up a couple of hours before we actually get up, and she's a bit unhappy about it.

Any suggestions welcome. (getting a new gf isn't the solution)
    Thanks

Change the start time to when you get up. Two hours beforehand seems excessive. I am sure that in many cases the heating does not have to come on some time before one gets up. Some houses will have issues warming up but perhaps then the answer is to keep the temperature at a level that helps alleviate that. Mine comes on as I get up. Never a problem.

Of course if it is coming on 2 hours early and it wakes her up then perhaps she should be up for she can’t be in a deep sleep!

Surely if you want the zone excluded you don’t need the heating on, therefore change the start time, or setpoint, to later/cooler and then ramp up later in the day?

That said, I’m not much of a fan of the optimised mode so would just change back to ‘standard’ and then choose exactly when you want the heating to begin firing

I was waiting for someone to arrive on cue and renew their complaint that enabling optimal start on a zone by zone basis was a previously available feature that got removed in the wifi version of the controller but it didn't happen! Have you all given up on this ever coming back ?

I hope not. I think it was bonkers to remove it.

Sorry, I am new to this........
Did they actually remove this feature ?

It was present in older hardware versions of the controller - the original Evohome colour model that came before the Wifi controller.

But when the wifi controller was released it was missing this feature. It wasn't removed from an existing model, but was omitted in the new model.
