    Multizone heating System

    Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your time in advance.

I need to control a large central heating system. Its too large for EvoHome. I need to control 16 underfloor heating zones, 1 hot water zone and 1 radiator zone (total 18 Zones).

Is there a generic system on the market that can handle this? It needs to be simple to use and have an app etc.

    Many thanks,

    Jerry

Have a look at Loxone And send them an email.
    They are very helpful.

An EvoHome system can use up to 4 controllers, each managing up to 12 zones. So 2 Evohome controllers would work for you. Divide the 16 UFH zones into 2 managable blocks of eg 9 and 7 zones, add the DHW and rad zones to whichever controller is most suitable. Each controller would have capacity for at least one more zone for future expansion.

I have their Z-Wave based system. Not sure of the limits - I have 12 zones and 18 devices (and it shares airspace with another Z-Wave network).

The company is British and quite responsive. I believe they sell their system to small hotels so I guess it should cover a fair few zones.
