    spam - Allegedly from Honeywell

I have this morning received an email, to my correct & unique email address for Honeywell reaging:-

    Dear Sir, Madam

You recently contacted Honeywell with a technical support issue. Following is a summary of your support ticket. Please review and respond to the question below.

    Ticket number: 02245818
    Email address:
Subject: 2 problems with the Evohome
    Date ticket created: 11/20/2015

We believe we have resolved your request. Would you agree that we can close your case?

If you disagree a member of our team will follow up with you.

    Thank you,
    Honeywell Technical Support
    The red highlighting is mine.

This is clearly a spam, asking me to click on a link...

I'm posting this from my 'phone, but can post a screenshot when I get back to a PC.

What's the underlying URL on the link?

I'm more inclined to suspect c0ck-up rather than conspiracy.

      Many thanks Paul

You may well be correct, the underlying URL is:-

It may well be a c0ck-up as I have never raised a technical support issue with Honeywell. Their customer support IT systems certainly seem to
      be riddled with problems.

      Regards

      Nigel

Clicktools is SAP, so the kind of thing that Honeywell is likely to be using.

Precisely - to do it once is excusable, but twice in a few weeks is really beyond the pail.

nothing to worry about guys, just a change in systems has resulted in some legacy cases being opened inadvertantly
