    Water Temp Calibration

Is it possible to re calibrate the water temp sensor ? My display is showing 60C and the sensor is sited about 2/3rds of the way do the tank, however water drawn off the tank (unvented cylinder) is about 50c at the tap.

    Can this be addressed ?

    Many thanks,

    FLY.

There's no calibrate option. I assume this is the insertion probe sensor ?

Check the connections to the sensor for a bad connection and also the pocket for a good thermal bond between sensor and tube.

Unusual for it to read too high. Normally if you had a problem it would read too low usually due to poor thermal bonding.

Also bear in mind that it's an NTC thermistor (negative temperature coefficient), so any bad connections would cause the temperature to read lower rather than higher.

Are you sure that there isn't a blending valve somewhere between the tank and the tap?
