Recessed Reed Switch

Evening all,

Can anyone recommend some recessed barrel reed switches for volt free connection to Idratek modules to detect door open / closed state? I've been using a bag I bought several years ago which were brass and had a lip which made them very good to fit into the door and door frame, like the pic below. However, I can't find anywhere that sells them anymore so look for alternative recommendations

Thanks Karam. I think you've come to the same conclusion as me, no more metal so will have to go plastic

I've ordered 10 of the plastic reed switches as they appear to meet my requirements apart from being plastic rather than metal. The gap distance seemed to be quite good at around 10 cm than some I'd seen.

10cm? Are you talking about the sensing distance? Seems far too long.
