    Intergas Diagnostic Software S1-S5 temperatures

Does anyone know what the S1-S5 temperatures logged in IDS are?

    S1 Flow sensor?
    S2 Return sensor?
    S3 DHW sensor?
    S4 ???
    S5 Outside temperature sensor?

    Thanks!

There's an option sensor that you can connect to the DHW incoming (I use it as I have a pre-heat tank). Perhaps it's that?

Difficult to know because Intergas are a bit crap at exposing these readings. There's no S2 available via OpenTherm, for example.

Paul, are my guesses correct? Do you know?

I think Paul's correct about S4. Google came up with this Dutch manual which labels S4 as the 'Cold water sensor' i.e. flow-in from a pre-heater (Solar Water Heater in this example).

        This manual gives these definitions:

        S1 Flow temperature sensor
        S2 Return temperature sensor
        S3 DHW temperature sensor
        S4 Cold water temperature sensor
        S5 Flow sensor DHW

Do these seem to make sense?

          I currently see:

          S1 95.2
          S2 46.7
S3 - (will try priority DHW later to see whether this returns DHW temperature)
          S4 53.2
          S5 -2.3

          Temp Flow 63.7

          I have an Intergas HRE4 40 SB.

S5 looks to me to be outside temperature (I have a sensor connected).
S4 varies a lot more than S2, so I was thinking that was maybe Temp Return?

I confirmed S4 is the DHW cylinder temperature reading. Also indicated I had an issue with my Priority DHW setup.

One of the DHW BDR9s that was supposed to be normally closed and connected in parallel to the cylinder sensor was not connected!

All working now (with boiler set to DHW Comfort ECO) see a DHW flow temp of 80C when there is a DHW demand rather than CH setting of 65C (OpenTherm).
