    Help on IR-RF-IR transceivers

    Hi,
I was looking for a product which is wireless, runs on battery that could take in IR signals and give out RF and the vice-versa.
Hope you guys can help me out. Thanks a lot.

There used to be a device called a "Rabbit" or something like that, it was battery powered and stuck to the front of your remote, transmitting by RF to a receiver (mains powered) at the equipment.

What do you want to actually do with this device. If we knew then we might be able to recommend a more suitable product or possibly a better way.
The only thing that comes to mind is the Powermid Dual Power this will run on batteries or mains.
Have a look here about product details http://www.intellihome.be/english/pr...iew.asp?id=276
