Default Raspberry pi Weather Compensation Not Open Therm

    Hello all,

Has anyone ventured into Weather Compensation with a Raspberry pi not using the Open Therm Gateway. I have an Oil Boiler so I cant modulate the output, however Im looking into a ways of altering the Boiler Set point with a raspberry pi using a simple T curve. Of course this will need an external Temp Sensor and a pipe sensor internally.

    For example:-

Outside Temp of 10C Boiler Temp to 50C
Outside Temp of 5C Boiler Temp to 55C
Outside Temp of 0C Boiler Temp to 60C
Outside Temp of -5C Boiler Temp to 62C
Outside Temp of -10C Boiler Temp to 65C

DHW temp is not an issue as I have Solar so it will exceed the 60C mark daily.

    Thanks,
    Fly
