I have just had a Chameleon IHD6 Smart meter installed.
It is a CAD (Consumer Access Device) which I can connect to my wifi and it gets given an ip address.
Sadly it looks like there is no way for a Consumer to Access the Device unless your energy supplier has done some sort of deal with Chameleon.
It looks like it can send real time data to a cloud.
Why can't they provide a way to allow it to be directly accessed on the LAN and some API to access it.
Or maybe provide a backdoor like Honeywell do with evohome.
Or does anyone know anyway that an end user get get this information.
I'd like to log and graph my real time usage along with all the other info I harvest.
BTW it has no open ports, and all Data is secure (TLSv1.2).
