    AW12

Am I correct in understanding that this unit will go behind a wall socket making that socket x10 controllable?

Also could I have a tumble dryer or vacuum cleaner, kettle on that socket, if not what are the limitations? (i am not a electrician!)

    TIA

    Re: AW12

Simple answer is yes, it will fit behind a wall socket if there is enough room, sometimes its a tight fit.
For inductive loads such as motors the max current it can handle is 3 Amps (tumble dryers, vacuum cleaners etc), and for resistive loads is 16 Amps and it then states that 2000W for normal light bulbs. I use one for my kettle.
If you are unsure about anything I would always contact an electrician.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
