Thread: Still not received new Evohome firmware.

    Default Still not received new Evohome firmware.

    Has anyone got the new firmware that did not directly request it?
    I thought I would just wait for it as I was interested in how long it would take but it has been months now and still no sign of it.
    I am thinking the warm weather shut down is a useful feature now that we are getting alternate cold and warm days.
    Looks like I'm going to have contact Honeywell.
    Anyone know the best way to request an update.

    I requested the update by logging a support ticket here, I'm not sure why they don't push out updates automatically, it might be so they don't "upset" customers when things unexpectedly change (eg new features which are enabled by default and affect schedules).... https://ensupport.getconnected.honey...language=en_US

    I think for the past few years an updated app has meant to be coming and perhaps a link with HomeKit. It seems to take a long time from the mention thereof to fruition. I suspect I will be below the turf when it happens.

    Thanks for the replies.
    It looks like Honeywell may be not intending to roll out the update to previously bought units and just selling new ones with it in.
