    Honeywell T4R

    Hi all,

Is there anybody who can provide feedback regarding the (new ?) Honeywell T4R thermostat ? (Opentherm installation, in particular)
I'm trying to figure out if this could be a recommended alternative for Evohome Opentherm (for one who does not require zoning)

    Thank you,
    E.

The round thermostat T87RF also can use OT and control the boiler directly as a single room stat.

      Hi Bruce,

Thank you for your answer. I'm aware of that.
      However, it's about budget.
On my local market, the round thermostat is available either as single unit (thermostat only), or packed with the BDR relay. This at about 80 euros.
For Opentherm, I would require also the R8810 which is available at 130 euros.

On the other hand, the T4R (thermostat + control box) is available at 90 euros.
