How do you close the hole of the CS92 immersion sensor?

For my hot cylinder, I use the immersion sensor provided with the Honeywell Hot Water heating kit.

What it's not clear to me is, once the sensor is down, whether I should close the hole somehow to avoid any kind of dispersion and hence not correct values in the reading.

    How do you usually do?

Hope to get some answers here because I haven't found anything.

You are relying on the contact sensor of the heating kit to have absorbed the heat into it's metal head. So any heat then escaping from the hole behind it is insignificant, in terms of the temperature reading

Thank you for the reply here.

just for the sake of completeness posting here a pic to show the hole https://ibb.co/095SKB6

So no need to close it with any other thing as far as I understood
