Danfoss has released a new wireless heating control system (http://www.danfoss.com/NewsAndEvents...oducts/CF2.htm): It seems as it is Z-wave but it can not be found anywhere in the documentation. If it is, then I wonder what type of data you can get from that system.

Re: Danfoss release of Z-wave technology?
According to the website, the product is compatible with the standard EN60730. Doesn't look even near to Z-wave....

Thanks for the compliments, Phil.
Is there any public announcement which confirms your statement? Can we ask where you gained this wisdome?
Sure hope this is Z-wave indeed! Would be a very nice addition!

Re: Danfoss release of Z-wave technology?
If you mean that you want to use a pc to control Z-wave units instead of using a remote controller, look at http://www.automatedoutlet.com/produ...cat=121&page=1. Please note that, as far as I know, HomeSeer is currrently the only software which can control this USB device.
Also, there is some rumour in the community that the serial model ( http://www.automatedoutlet.com/produ...cat=121&page=1 ) is more reliable than the USB-version.

Re: Danfoss release of Z-wave technology?
Cf2 is (at the moment) a stand alone system. I the future I want to combine the house alarm with light switches and heating.
So by controling the Danfoss system by PC it is possible to give a "lower all" when I leave the house. Therefor I need to be 100% sure to have 'remote control' other than the original 'remote control'.
The original remote to me is just a nice 'add on' which I'm planing to use as a zonecontrol for a big room with 110 m2 floor heating.
I'm planing to give diffent offsets to kitchen, diner and living area at different times.
So i'm looking for certainty before a spent my money on this system
