Default Towerstat T105 and Drayton Digistat RF1

    Hello,
Having a problem trying to replace Drayton Digistat RF1 with Towerstat T105, the wiring diagrams are quiet different and I don't seem to have as many spaces for all the wires on the towerstat as on the existing Drayton. The drayton receiver is wired both to the boiler and to a switch to turn the boiler and receiver off. I don't seem to have the same options on the Towerstat.
Wiring diagrams for anyone who can help can be found on:

    Drayton:

    Thanking you all kindly,
    Melly

    Hi Melly

Having a quick look at both schematics it appears that your Drayton stat (looking at the combi boiler schematic) is using a "dry contact" interface whereas the new Tower stat is switching 240v.....this would most probably damage your boiler electronics board if 240v was connected...

You need to modify your boiler wiring slightly.....Do you know any electricians who could mod it for you ...???

Hi Frank, thanks for your response. I have noticed that a few people have bought these Towerstats on a prominent online auction site and are now having to resell them as they seem to have this exact issue, I have decided to sell mine too, and get something that I needn't fiddle with and can just install. These Towerstats may be cheaper than the bigger better known brands but having to get an electrician to modify the boiler makes the costs work out more than if I'd just bought the higher spec Drayton or Danfoss.
Kindest regards and thanks for trying to help.
    Melly
