one cold radiator in the system
Please can anyone help.
I have a cold radiator upstairs and all the others are working fine. The pipe to it is also cold. I have checked and it does not need bleeding.

Re: one cold radiator in the system
If you turn off some of the radiators does it get hot.
Try balancing the system. see here http://www.diyfaq.org.uk/plumbing/rad-balance.html

Just to be on the safe side, have you checked that BOTH valves on the rad are opened?
Also you didn't mention if you have thermostatic valve fitted. Sometimes they get stuck.

Hi Both valves are fully open(Anti clockwise) the valve on this is a TRV 2 way Myson unsure whether this is athermostatic valve or not. If it is how do you get them unstuck?
Thanks

Many thermostatic valve work on the wax expansion method. Many of the bodies of these valves can be unscrewed, leaving the actual valve mechanism still attached to the radiator. If you get this far, you should see a small rod protuding from the center of the valve. Use a pair of pliers and gently try to move the rod up and down. Put the valve body back on and it should work.
Or befor you put the body back switch on the heating and see if by moving the rod the rad gets hot.
If it works try and have a go at balancing the system. Try balancing the system. see here http://www.diyfaq.org.uk/plumbing/rad-balance.html .
Good luck.
