Default Box of about 30 3c509 Ethernet cards (for free).

I've got a box of these from a company clear-out. I'd intended wiring them up to PIC microcontrollers to create embedded ethernet devices for home automation. They're free to anyone who wants them - no time to do anything with them. As far as I know they are all working. Postage to anywhere in the UK will be 5 pounds, or you can collect from Abingdon.

    Cheers.

    Are they 10meg or 10/100?

    Thanks

They are 10 MBit I'm afraid - otherwise I don't think I'd give them away.

I've just counted them and there are actually 42. 14 are AUI/BNC, 16 are AUI/BNC/CAT5, 12 are CAT5 only. I assume they all work, but I haven't checked them (and don't intend to). Still, these things don't go wrong very often, and I'm sure they were pulled to upgrade to 100mbit, rather than due to faults.

I've got 10 here myself and I can't give them away either! (Along with about 100 old 8 meg 72 pin simms).

I want to have a go at ethernet enabling some PIC's so I'll take them off your hands.

Mail us your address or TT details and I'll send you the postage. I'll send you my address offlist.
