Re: RS232 integration
Ok there are 2 things you can do, if its true serial data then Hyperterminal should be able to receive the GPS strings, these will be in NEMA format, not too sure what version is being used these days, but doing a google for NEMA data strings will give you a wealth of information on what all the numbers mean. Another program which is freeware, and its one I use, is GPSUtil. It can be downloaded here http://www.gpsu.co.uk/ .
Its a very good piece of software, and now supports google earth.IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

No sure if from what you say if you a diagnostic type program of something to read the data, if you need the former see system internals website, they have a port monitoring profram freeware for seeing what data is being send over a port.Cheers

Forgot to mention that GPSUtils also has a console window so you can see the raw data string.IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
