    Programming an X10 Module

    Hi Folks

Just ordered a couple of X10 modules that require the house code etc to be set electronically.

Will my CM12 be able to do that (with appropriate software) or do I need something else?

    Thanks

Which modules have you bought. The micro modules can't be programmed from a CM12, I use either a RF remote and a TM13 or my trusty AT004 Tester which can send X10 and exteneded X10 codes. I got mine direct from ACT.

      Something like the following then?

Would the MT10 do it also?

Basically I've ordered some modules off Kevin Lo (Ebay) e.g.

I've dome some checking on various message boards and the general feedback about him (and the modules) was positive so thought I'd give it a go.[/url]

Yes an MT10 can be used, I have done this a few times in the past. One of my setups for programming was to use a TM13 and the Marmitek 8 in 1 universal remote.
I also set up a little test bed so that the micro modules could be programmed and tested before installation, if you are doing a few modules this can save time, especially if there are problems.
