Boiler just won't shut off !
My Potterton Netaheat 80e (15 yrs old) just keeps on running, even with the thermostat down to zero, the programmer set to off ..... and even with the programmer taken off the wall to leave just the connectors! Both hot water and central heating are permanently on.
Obviously it shuts off when I turn off the power completely but then comes on immediately I switch it on. This has suddenly happened without anything else being touched.
I hope that someone out there might have an idea as to what could be wrong.

If you have motorised valves, check if they are stuck in the on position.
