i found the new website about bathrooms at http://dezinebathrooms.com may be you can as them. Thanks
If your after a bathroom TV I can highly recommend www.waterprooftv.co.uk
They are very friendly and professional and will beat prices found elsewhere.
I purchased a 17" Aquavision from them which I must say is superb
The remote stopped working 1 week before the 2year warranty expired and was changed within 3 days with no issues.
Hi Beachfun,
Just installed 2 tilevision units for a customer - only 'issue' with these units is you have to adjust the depth of the fixing lugs to suit your tiles + adhesive to bring them flush with the frame - this is vital and you need to get it right. The sticky facia is thin and flimsy so as flush as possible will give the best results.
Setup & configuration was easy with a good picture and reasonable sound.
Regards,
Paul.
I'm going to join in this discussion as I have a similar question.
Can anyone recommend a waterproof IP6 (for near a sink) rated mirror finish television **surface** mounted? 17" to 19", under £1000m, with freeview and preferable seperate ceiling mounted speakers.
We did try a TechVision Inifinti 17" which said it could be flush or surface mounted, but on delivery we found that the surface mounted purely meant it can be monted on a bracket and had no cosmetic back cover. In our small bathroom and limited choice on positioning, this would mean (unless viewed from in the bath) having to look at the side view for most of the time which was ugly! I did try hiding it with a pot plant, but it just wasn't the same as a nicely polished chrome effect case
thanks.

Unfortunately TV designed for the bathroom is quite expensive, but like everything they will come down in price.

Just came across this
http://www.ad-notam.com/EN/index.asp

Also be careful about getting a so called waterproof TV some so called waterproof TVs aren't. They are moisture proof and quite often have no IP rating.

Cheers Toscal,
Those all seem to be very high end and the websites make them look extremely expensive.
It seems to go from ugly (ones I have found so far) to stunning (ones you have found). Is there no middle ground?
It wont actually be used as a mirror and therefore doesn't need to be all flashy glass and amazement. It's just the misses doesn't want something that blacks out when switched off. There must be waterproof IP rated (thanks for that tip) silver / mirror effect televisions that are enclosed in a half decent looking, relatively thin, silver / chrome or even white boxes.
Isn't there......????
I do have a few wholesale suppliers I know up my sleeve that do video related stuff. I can ask them.
If I get anywhere I will let you know.
