    Default potterton puma boe combi

    Hello

I have a potterton puma combi boiler recently serviced and all that was needed was a room thermostat.
The problem i have is the hot water, the biggest one being to the shower.
when having a shower the water is nice and hot and then all of a sudden goes freezing cold, before returning to hot and so on. i was told the problem was my shower so i've just had a new one installed but with no luck, the problem still persists. it's the same with the water from the taps, but i can live with that. anyone have any ideas as to the problem, hopefully not a new boiler.
one other weird thing, if i have the central heating on and have a shower at the same time the water remains constantly hot. i'm not technically minded about this but surely the plumbers i've had in should know what's wrong!!
    help

Pressure seems to be ok, the cold water is from the mains so is a bit fierce. hot water is slow to start but once it gets hot is good, apparently a design feature according to the potterton manual
