Hometoys has a very interesting history of X10, ok, so it’s exactly what you’d call brief, but then neither was the book who’s title I’m paraphrasing, and if it was good enough for a Lucasian Professor of Mathematics, it’s certainly good enough for me.
Dave Rye has been with X10 for 30 years, and the article is to celebrate that fact, so next time your cursing your X10 because it’s too slow or your lamp module doesn’t have soft start, pity this guy!! As he says … “I was 23 years old when I joined Pico. That was 30 years ago, I was a kid then, I’m a Granddad now”
